Local newspapers don’t just report on a community — they’re its mouthpiece, and a reflection of that community’s core values.

For decades, our papers have worked to tell the stories of your hometown: the people, the businesses, the schools, the milestones, and the moments that matter.

It seems that every day, we’re asked by readers how they can help the paper continue to run smoothly. One of the simplest and most direct ways is through a donation. Like every publisher, we’ve faced rising costs in recent years. Newsprint prices surged during the pandemic and remain at historic highs, and postage has increased seven times in the past three years.

While advertising covers much of the cost of producing and delivering your newspaper, it doesn’t cover everything. Reader donations help bridge that gap. Every contribution — at any level — goes directly toward printing, mailing, and producing the local journalism you see each month.

Your support helps keep your hometown newspaper strong, independent, and moving in the right direction.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for being part of the community we serve.
