Clackamas County Libraries’ 9th Annual Teen Art Contest

Clackamas County Libraries’ 9th Annual Teen Art Contest

The Libraries in Clackamas County (LINCC) invite interested teens to electronically submit their original artwork for LINCC’s ninth annual Teen Summer Reading Artwork contest. This year’s theme is “Read, renew, repeat.”
The contest deadline to submit entries is Jan. 15, 2024. Artists must be in grade 6 through 12 at the time of submission, and artwork must represent the theme. Entries should be in color with no text.
“Every year we are amazed by the quality of the artwork we receive,” said Lisa Taylor, Youth Services Librarian. “We are delighted to again offer this opportunity for young artists to get involved with their communities and to grow creatively.”
The winner of last year’s contest, themed “Find Your Voice!” was 14-year-old Danica Glazier of Happy Valley (see accompanying image).
Like last year, the winning design will be used by LINCC throughout the county for all summer reading promotional materials such as posters, forms, flyers and social media. The winning entrant will receive a $100 cash gift card. An honorable mention prize of $25 will also be awarded.
