  • If you were not brought here as a child, what brought you to the Mountain? That beautiful volcano, Mt. Hood!

  • Profession? Director of Retail Operations for Timberline Lodge

  • Other professions? Owner of Friday Snowboard Co.

  • Favorite movie/and or musical? Blazing Saddles

  • Favorite Actress/Actor? Will Ferrell

  • Favorite TV show? Ancient Aliens

  • Favorite book? 33 Strategies of War by Robert Greene

  • Favorite type of music? Anything aside from new country music

  • Favorite Food? Pizza

  • Favorite hobbies? Snowboarding, snowsurfing, skateboarding, biking — just about anything with a high risk of causing bodily harm

  • If offered a dream vacation, where would you go, and why? Japan- The culture, the mountains, and the snow are second to none.

  • Best lesson learned as a child? Taking ownership of your actions, good, bad or otherwise

  • Defining moment in your life or your greatest accomplishment? Following my childhood dream of starting my own snowboard company

  • A memorable dinner? The first time I had Wagyu at the age of 14. That stuff is incredible.

  • A funny moment from your life that you can share? I once inadvertently took a school picture with broccoli in my teeth.

  • If you could invite anyone (past or present) to dinner, who would it be, and why? Noah Salasnek — he embodied the true spirit of snowboarding, and I think that’s been lost over the years.

  • Describe yourself in one word? Hungry. Does anyone have an extra sandwich?

  • When you’re not reading The Mountain Times, what book/author/magazine/other do you read? Anything educational! There’s entirely too much

  • If your life were made into a play or movie, what would the title be? ADHD: The George Sandidas Story

  • Pet peeve? Camping in the left lane while driving the Govy 500.

  • Bad habit you’d like to break? Double booking meetings

  • Famous person(s) you have met, and the circumstances? Olympic Snowboarder Shaun White- Came into a store I was working at and asked for a discount on a pair of snowboard boot laces. I said, “no” and charged him full price.

  • Favorite quote? “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

  • Favorite part of The Mountain Times? It’s local!
