With the festivities of Sandy Music Fair and Feast done again for the year, Executive Director Khrys Jones and the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce aren’t hitting pause.

In August, the Chamber’s popular line-up of networking opportunities will return, and with an extra fun event mixed in — Family Bingo Night for Scholarships at Wippersnappers Kids Play Place. The Career and Education Committee is also back in September, and will help facilitate the Bingo night as one of their many ways they seek to support local students.

“We're looking forward to a year of connecting businesses and students through Principal for a Day, Thrive at 25, and Family Bingo Nights supporting scholarships for the Class of 2027," Jones said. Chamber members interested in joining the committee are encouraged to contact Khrys Jones at khrys@sandyoregonchamber.org

The October Chamber tradition — Trick or Treat Trail — returns Oct. 24, and is accepting businesses to participate.

"Trick or Treat Trail is a community favorite, and we can't wait to welcome all the little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes as they visit local businesses for treats,” Jones explained. “Businesses outside the downtown core can still join the fun by hosting a pop-up booth along the trail."

Those interested in participating can contact Khrys Jones at khrys@sandyoregonchamber.org for more information.

Also coming up in October are Chamber board nominations.

For the second year under the Chamber’s control, Camo Con will take over the downtown core once more on Nov. 21, and raise funds for multiple local causes.

“We are honored to continue the tradition started by Sandy’s Helping Hands 12 years ago,” Jones said. “This fun community event brings people together while raising funds to support local holiday families and scholarships for graduating seniors.”
