Best lesson learned as a child:

If you’re asked to go pick out your spanking utensil ‘cause you were bad enough for a spanking, don’t get the smallest stick … it hurts the worst.

Defining moment in your life or your greatest accomplishment:

Marriage, motherhood, being published (children’s stories)

A memorable dinner:.

Well…it was my 12th birthday and my parents took us out to a fancy restaurant in Portland. I was told “whatever you want, it’s your birthday.” I ordered Lobster Thermodor (I think). It was disgusting and I couldn’t eat it.

A funny moment from your life that you can share:

The next time I was asked to get my own spanking utensil, I brought a 7 ft long 2x4. Dad laughed so hard, I didn’t get a spanking.

If you could invite anyone (past or present) to dinner, who would it be, and why: .

My Dad, he was an awesome man, taught me so much, I really miss him.
