Place of Birth? Portland and Bend.
How long on the Mountain? Nick grew up here, Kendra about five years.
If you were not brought here as a child, what brought you to the Mountain? We own Evergreen Mt. Hood Delivery! We offer Restaurant, Grocery, and firewood delivery from Cherryville to Government Camp. It’s been really fun serving our mountain community for the past year!
Profession? I work as the administration assistant at Mt. Hood Oregon Resort .
other Professions? Nick is the Oregon NESC Project Manager for Lumen/PGE, and Kendra is the queen of side hustles.
Favorite movie? Sound of Music.
Favorite Actress/Actor? Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon.
Favorite TV SHOW? The Office.
Favorite book? Dave Grohl, The Story Teller.
Favorite type of music? We LOVE so many different kinds of music, can’t pick one genre!
Favorite Food? If it’s delicious, we love it.
Favorite hobbies? Jamming to music, playing outside, grilling, and baking sourdough.
If offered a dream vacation, where would you go, and why? OAnywhere tropical! We love Reggae music and being submerged in that culture, with a warm ocean to swim in – it’s a win every time!
Best lesson learned as a child? Be kind and help people whenever you can.
Defining moment in your life or your greatest accomplishment? Having our amazing daughter, Georgia June!
A memorable dinner? We took the chair lift up Mt. Bachelor and had a sunset dinner that was magical.
A funny moment from your life that you can share Our life is pretty comical as is, but I’d say right now is listening to our three year old learn full sentences. She says the funniest things!
If you could invite anyone (past or present) to dinner, who would it be, and why? Tom Petty. Nick saw him perform live 11 times and helps run his official fan club today!
Describe yourself in one word? Grateful.
When you’re not reading The Mountain Times, what book/author/magazine/other do you read? Rolling Stone and cooking/baking magazines.
If your life were made into a play or movie, what would the title be? How to Enjoy the Chaos.
Pet peeve? Dangerous drivers.
Bad habit you’d like to break? Cussing at dangerous drivers.
Famous person(s) you have met, and the circumstances? Nick worked security at the Rose Garden and Kendra bartended at PDX, both for years: the list would be too long!
