Mt. Hood Lions Club Hosts Community Resource Fair June 7 in Welches

Come one, come all! Mt. Hood Lions Club is hosting a Community Resource Fair on June 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the clubhouse, 24730 E. Woodsey Way, Welches, OR.

Are you ready for disaster and do you know what resources will be available to you when you need help? This fair is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, learn about vital resources, and prepare for potential emergencies. Attendees will gain valuable insights into disaster preparedness and response, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle any situation that may arise. Don't miss out on this chance to connect with local organizations and experts dedicated to community safety and resilience.

Of particular interest will be the OR Division of Financial Regulation (Consumer Protection) who can answer homeowner insurance questions. PGE will talk about their battery backup and solar incentive programs. Clackamas County Disaster Management will have information about the upcoming evacuation map. HFD #74 CERT program and the Hoodview Amateur Radio Club & Ham Radio Group is looking for people interested in disaster response volunteer opportunities.
