The Welches Parent Teacher Community Organization (WPTCO) raised over $15,000 at its 2025 Bid & Bloom Gala, supporting student programs at Welches Schools. Held at Camp Arrah Wanna, the event featured local cuisine, live and silent auctions, raffles, and community spirit. Funds will support arts, enrichment, and essentials like classroom supplies, stage lighting, and a new Gaga ball pit.

Returning for its third year, the Sandy Invitational Chainsaw Competition (SICC Forest Fest) showcases chainsaw artistry, timber sports, and hands-on forestry education. Hosted by youth-led organization Trajectory, the May 31–June 1 event in Sandy, Oregon connects community and conservation while promoting careers in forestry.
