Mark your calendar for November 1, 2025, and attend the annual Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum’s Heritage Night celebration. This fun event, from 6-9:30 p.m., is being held at the museum in Government Camp. It marks the beginning of winter activities on Mt. Hood and is an opportunity to socialize with old and new friends. You’ll enjoy heavy hors d’ oeuvres, libations (donated by local restaurants and businesses), and participate in winning select raffle prizes, as well as items from the silent and live auctions. It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year; the evening is dedicated to raising operating funds for the non-profit museum.
Your annual museum membership is your ticket in. Memberships are available online or at the door. You’re encouraged to use the convenience of purchasing your membership online. This is also the time to donate items to the museum for this annual fundraiser. If you have anything you’d like to donate to the auction, please call the museum: (503) 272-3301 to make arrangements.
There is something for everyone and in every price range in the Heritage Night auction. Attendees should be prepared to bid on vacation packages, guided outdoor adventure trips, and unique vintage décor items. Theme gift baskets and a variety of wines are always available for bidding. These auctions are also a great source of artwork by local artists, recreation passes, and sports game tickets. Many other distinctive items are available for bidding, only at the annual Heritage Night auction.
For more information, please contact the Mt. Hood Museum and Cultural Center and Museum, 88900 Government Camp Loop, Government Camp, (503) 272-3301.
