Fellow Voters: There is a clear choice for Clackamas County Sheriff on the Nov. 3 general election ballot: Brad O’Neil.
O’Neil brings more than 27 years of experience with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and currently serves as Undersheriff. He has served in nearly every major role within the Sheriff’s Office, giving him firsthand knowledge of its people, operations, and challenges.
O’Neil is an Oregon-certified law enforcement officer and holds the state’s highest DPSST credential, the Executive Certificate. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy and has completed leadership and command
training through the Oregon State Sheriffs’ Association and other law enforcement organizations.
His experience and training means that O’Neil is prepared to lead the Sheriff’s Office on day one. At a time when our community needs experienced leadership, voters should consider the value of having a sheriff who already knows the organization, its personnel and the communities he will serve.
O’Neil’s career has also been recognized with honors, including the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Medal of Valor and the Oregon Peace Officers Association Medal of Honor. Brad O’Neil has devoted his law enforcement career to protecting and serving Clackamas County. He has the experience, training, and leadership background needed to serve as our next sheriff.
Please join me in voting for Brad O’Neil for Clackamas County Sheriff.
